SoMa 501 Biz Spotlight: The Loony Bin Comedy Club – Bringing Laughter and Joy to SoMa

Discover the hilariously entertaining Loony Bin Comedy Club temporarily relocated in the heart of SoMa, Little Rock. This cozy venue promises a night of laughter and good times with friends, family, or that special someone. Don't miss the chance to experience their side-splitting stand-up comedy performances.

The tornado that hit West Little Rock on March 31st caused a lot of damage, and businesses all around the city were affected. The Loony Bin Comedy Club, one of Little Rock's premier destinations for live stand-up comedy, was no exception. But Bethany Howell, one of the owners of the club, was determined to keep the staff employed and patrons entertained, even in the face of adversity.

That's why, from April 12-30, the Loony Bin Comedy Club has temporarily relocated to downtown Little Rock, in the heart of the SoMa district. The former South on Main Restaurant has graciously opened its doors to the club, providing a space for comedy lovers to come together and enjoy a night of laughter and fun. And the SoMa community has been nothing but supportive, welcoming the Loony Bin with open arms.

The Loony Bin Comedy Club's mission has always been to provide a fun and entertaining experience for all of its patrons, and to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for everyone. And even though the club has had to temporarily relocate, its commitment to this mission remains as strong as ever. The cozy venue is still the perfect spot for a night out with friends or a date night with that special someone. And the club's friendly staff is still dedicated to making sure that everyone has everything they need to enjoy their night, from hot food and cool drinks to comfortable seating.

But what really sets the Loony Bin Comedy Club apart is the quality of the comedians that perform on its stage. The club is proud to bring the funniest comedians from around the country to Little Rock, ensuring that every show is a night of non-stop laughter. And the upcoming Open Mic Night on Sunday, April 30th at 8:00 pm is the perfect opportunity to discover new talent and enjoy some fresh perspectives.

“We want to express our sincere gratitude to the SoMa community for their unwavering support during this challenging time,” says Bethany Howell. “We can't wait to return to our original location in Breckenridge Village, but until then, let's laugh together and make some unforgettable memories. We hope to see you soon at the Loony Bin Comedy Club!”
