Ann of Sparklythangs guides you through the process of upcycling nostalgic vintage bits, baubles and antique keys into a wonderful keepsake necklace. Learn several techniques relevant to upcycling vintage pieces into jewelry, including metal piercing, attaching bails, and wire wrapping. Materials fee covers everything you need to make one “Y” necklace, including a vintage focal piece, chain, keys, 3 charms, and use of all tools. Feel free to bring sentimental family mementos such as medals, tie tacks, coins, charms, thimbles, tiny toys, buttons, and old pieces of jewelry that are not much larger than 1 inch. Extra supplies will be available for purchase. Ages 12+, please.
