Add a little vintage to your Christmas tree! Learn to make upcycled ornaments using your own family keepsakes such as earrings, buttons, lace, ribbon, even paper ephemera! Taught by Ann Clements of Sparklythangs, participants will learn various basic assembly techniques such as punching, wiring, and drilling (including Dremel use) and how to instantly age metal. Bring your old buttons, small jewelry/rhinestone pieces, old Christmas cards, vintage ribbons and ephemera (small photocopies if you don’t want to glue something special). We will also have a selection of affordable vintage items available for purchase. Tart tins, jewelry wire, chandelier crystals and use of tools are included in the materials fee.
Snacks and beverages will be provided!
